A project within the field of Food, Learning and Community Design.

Table Talks are a series of gatherings around the dinner table that aims to engage conversations around issues that matter most in food.

Each talk gives focus to a person within the food sector of Copenhagen, who brings a topic, dilemma or question related to their work such as sustainable agriculture, entrepreneurship, science, health and creativity.

The Table Talk is a space to engage in shared and democratic discussions around all areas of food and food culture. This is important in order to strengthen structures of participatory co-creation and spaces of learning among actors in the food industry of Copenhagen.

The aim is to contribute to a more connected food community, evolve capacity in people and systems by creating spaces to think in a collective pursuit of knowledge and relationships.

The Table Talks wish to bring forth curiosity and optimism that can push changes that needs to be. By combining multiple perspectives from the system raise awareness that can enable choices that are sustainable and good for people and planet.

Working in the core delivery team of the Oxford Early Years Rapid Action Lab from February to December 2018. My main focus has been to externally communicate the value of the Lab to future funders and new participants. Including creating a strategy of how to measure impact and collect relevant data.

Main areas of responsibilities:

- Evaluation, communication and documentation

- Writing and coordination of external report

- Capacity and relationship building within the Oxford Lab and its participants

- Prototype coach to one out of five lab groups

- Communication, coordination and stakeholder engagement

This project was a collaboration between Oxford City Council, Oxford Hub, Roller Strategies and Kaospilots.

A Rapid Action Lab is a strategy developed by Roller Strategies designed to address complex social challenges and quickly achieve coordinated action. It is a collaborative process which relies on building trust and connection within the sector to create sustainable impact. The process centres on bringing together a wide range of stakeholders from different parts of the sector to ensure a deep knowledge of the challenge and in having a diversity of opinions, ideas and abilities.

Oxford has been identified by the 2017 Social Mobility Report as the 19th worst locality area in Early Years' social mobility indicators for disadvantaged children. The Early Years Rapid Action Lab is a bold new initiative bringing together parents, professionals, educators, local representatives and funders to work together and take action to address priority needs for children under 5 in Oxford.

In collaboration with the educational think thank Fundacio Jaume Bofill and three other Kaospilots we explored how philosophy and critical thinking could be increased and take more space on the schools agenda of Catalonia, Spain.

The result ended up as a dialogue game,

called Ministry of Thoughts.

Ministry of Thought is a framework for either teachers to use together with the students; for parents to engage in ways of having philosophical conversations with their children; or for students to explore and experiment new ways of learning and reflecting together.

The mechanics works in the way to kick start dialogue and helps to formulate thoughts that can foster students critical thinking. It can be seen as a game, but moreover an activity to do with others, to reflect around topics from different perspectives and therefore foster critical thinking.

Due to our involvement with Fundacio Jaume Bofill and by exploring philosophy and critical thinking and how (or if) it can make the Catalan society more equitable, it was necessary to apply critical thinking, to our work too.

This to fully understand our challenge. A Critical Mess, is an open source website, with the intention to share our process, thoughts and decisions. The open source methodology is based on improving active participation and transparency, which is possible only when everyone has access to information and the way a process has been designed.

If we do not apply the views we wish to spread, we are imposing them on others.

In the fall of 2017, the 2nd year students of Kaospilots moved it´s home base to a new city, Barcelona. This to further explore a new context and apply what we learn, understand a new culture and potential ways to communicate and operate in it.

This is the report of that time where the different aspects of our time in Barcelona is showcased. It tells the story of our journey as a team, of our experiences ad- justing to and working in the context of a new city. How to setup operations of our organisation and the work we have engaged in with clients and partners. We zoom in on the ambiguous and essential art of value creation, and attempt to examine what kind of impact we have made during our time, through our work, actions and being click to read report.

Core lead of a Future Foresight project on how to imagine and communicate IKEA as a sustainable business in the future.

We made an imaginative concept for sustainable living and how to rethink production and consumption. This was showcased as an experience design during the festival “Made In Space” that took place in the meatpacking district of Copenhagen 15-17 of June 2017.

1 million voices is an initiative located in Freedom Farm, Cape Town. The aim is to give people who are living undocumented in South Africa, A Voice.

The situation caused many challenges. One of them was children not going to school and that in combination with poverty and malnourishment lead to physical and intellectual under development.

This made me research playfulness, gamification and behavior. From this a game was developed based on above challenge.

The game enabled the children of Freedom Farm to play and express thoughts, opinions and feelings even when the level of communication was not present or developed.

The children's interaction with the game was later translated and became words and illustration for a book, The colour of your voice. This was a way to open up possible ways to express and share stories even when words are not possible.

The project was based on the question of how to gamify a challenge in order to experience and understand it. I initiated and executed the project and its process.

The game was made in relation to the vision of 1 Million Voices and the project holder Quinton Adams, Stellenbosch University, Director for the Centre for Youth and Child Development, South Africa. Initiator for the project, 1 million voices.

The game design has been translated into a Playbook for students of Stellenbosch University who has taken the design further to other townships around Cape Town.

Aarhus was announced the European culture capital 2017. As a part of this I co created a design thinking process together with Sager de Samler and four other Kaospilots.

The design addressed ways to engage citizens of Aarhus, Denmark to become more active in their everyday lives. This project was the first step in the making of a festival under the name, Rethink Activism, hosted by Sager de Samler in September 2017.

We made a dialogue starter pack to introduce to stakeholders, in order to engage them in the festival. The aim of the festival was to showcase stories from everyday activists as a way of inviting others to get inspired and explore new ways of a democratic society
